I’ve been going to Rochester’s (mini) Maker Faire since the beginning, as it’s in tandem with NYSCATE, so I’d go out for the Faire then attend the confence. This year & last year the conference started the same day as the Faire and this year the Maker Faire was a true Faire (and no longer mini). Besides

I can’t say enough about attending EdCamp. I’ve been to more than 10 of them in the past, possibly 15ish at this point. I have met many wonderful people, while learning new information, and always look forward to seeing my PLN friends at EdCamps. Many of these people are listed on my PLN page. EdCamps are in the style of an unconference. Classes are decided once everyone is together....

I’ve considered starting a edtech blog before, and I got as far as starting the WordPress site and uploading a theme (which has since been deleted off). I can’t guarantee that this will be regularly posted to, but it is a place to collect info and musings and other things related to work and edtech. Happy reading!
